Free books and DVD for Volunteers at DP Rendezvous!!

Hi everyone;

Attention!!! We call upon the mighty Forumite Volunteer Corps for assistance in our moment of dire need!

Yours truly is hosting the 2009 Dawn Patrol Rendezvous (official announcement forthcoming). I and my lovely wife, Alice, will also attempt to run a sizable booth where copies of THE STAND, THE QUEST and The Search for THE STAND DVD documentary will all be available, in addition to a live screen display of the documentary, a book signing area and an exhibit of the original painting by our own Russell Smith (applause!).

Since I am going to be somewhat occupied with hosting the entire event and my wife cannot possibly do everything on her own, we need three volunteers to help us set up, tear down and staff the booth for 3 to 4 hours per day in rotating shifts. Duties include assisting my wife in manning the booth, assisting the event host, helping with book sales and a few small errands, and remaining on call for any minor crisis (especially on Saturday – the big day).

In appreciation for your help, volunteers will receive a gift package including complimentary copies of THE STAND, THE QUEST and the two-disc collector’s edition of “The Search for THE STAND” on DVD and a supply of free Drench H20 water and Evo Energy drinks (total retail value $150).

I wont guarantee nothin at this time as we still fighting to get the cash to go, that being said come time for the show and if you dont have the peeps ya need if I go I can help out few hours a day. So far looking like we gonna make it but ya know how last minute things come up

well things are starting to look up a friend of wifes needs some desperate help with his landscaping business and he pays good so looks like will have trip money waiting to hear on my schedule with arizona models booth so figure ill be able to help some

Wish, you would have brought your books under our tent (Jack Eder) where I could help (I've got 2 helpers if I can keep them from running off). I really could help Alice there. Call me if this is something that can be done, we'd love to help. Christy

I need to call Jack, BTW. But the USAFA is putting my tent up by the main stage for obvious reasons. Hey... maybe you guys will have a surplus of manpower and can send us some.

I asked my buddy if he also wanted to help set-up Friday morning in exchange for the books and video and he jumped at the chance.
