Very interesting site. Found my uncle Bertram Hutchinson Smyth among the British aces. Didn't know he was one. Is there anything similar for World War 2?

Looking for information on a LTC W.A. Bishop. My family has an autographed copy of the book The Peoples War Book and Atlas, published in 1920 by R.C. Barnum in Cleveland. Promotes him Ace of Aces with 100+ confirmed kills. Any info you can provide to my email would be appreciated.

This is a third attempt. I timed out twice. I have information on the place of birth of Captain Ian McDonald who appears on your site. He was born in Antigua BWI 9 9 1898. I have further details if you are interested. Ron Baynes

Family history has my grandfather, William TURNER a joiner by trade, building aircraft at a point in his career. From what I have read about about the Military Engineers Museum, I understand they were in the aircraft business before 1912. My grandfather was with a miltary engineering unit from 1909-1910, maybe the Durham Fortress Engineers. He and his family lived in Jarrow or Hebburn before coming to Canada in about 1910. Might anyone have any leads?
