Francesco Ciraco

Very interesting site, easy to navigate and well put together. I personally enjoyed the Francesco Barraca information. I served in the same regiment in WWII, the Royal Piedmont Cavalry. In 1936, I was part of the honour guard at the inauguration of the Barraca monument. Thanks and my grandson was able to verify the information I had told him through this site.

I have a 1929 first print of Man has learned to fly. Written by Reed G Landis it is in fair condition and I'm trying to find out what it is worth. Anyone reading this please let me know. Thanks Sam Shelley

Felix Rigg

Thank you for creating this excellent website. I have registered as "Felix" and have posted on your forum. If you know Yeates' "Winged Victory" then it is fascinating to read the brief biog of Donald MacLaren, who must have been Yeates' inspiration for the character "Mac" in the book. And, speaking of the above book, have you ever "twigged" that "Winged Victory" is actually "Winged Victor Y"? Regards and thanks again Felix
