Hi Everyone,
Great site. I found my Great Uncle on here ! I'm looking to find more info. as all I know is that he was living and died in Hong Kong. He was, I beleive, a tutor for the Liptons family children.
Good luck to all and best wishes.

I love your website! It helped me a lot with my project on WWI medals.
Some things that would make this site even better are: 1) a fun facts section. 2) a list of total number of different medals given out during World War One. 3) More adds (for more income), but less noticeable. 4) and an explanation of what Over the Front is. All in all, I'm just being picky I LOVE your site. Thank you so much!

I was searching for the name of Sergeant Blyth Kempton-
Werohia, who was my sister's New Zealander fiance. Blyth died
in an accident in Trenton, Canada in 1942. Hugh A. Halliday
posted a message on 9 August 2000 wondering why Blyth was
buried in Ottawa, when the usual resting place would have
been close to the place of death. Blyth was to be married to
my sister Margaret the following week. Although I am not
certain how the decision was made, I believe it was for that
reason.

My great uncle, George Dowler, fought in WW1 and died
November 10, 1918, the day before the war ended. I am
trying to find more information on him and the mission he
was on when he collided with another plane. Is it true that
the war was already won and that perhaps he died in vein?

After watching the History Channel about William Barker, I went on the computer looking for more about our Aces and found this site. It blows me away that you any one would amass this much information. It's absolutely phenonimal. I'll be reading for many hours to come. Thank you and well done
