Hi everybody!
We have a very big modelbuilding exhibition (one of the biggest in Europe) from 1st of November until 4th of November. Our private model flying club will be a part of that exhibition showing our Fokker DR1 model squad to thousands of people. Therefore we like to show couple of historic facts from each pilot our models werer flewn by in real (with a photo of each pilot). Can anybody help me to get a photograph of Lt. Fritz Kempf with the permission to display that photo? Thanks!

Cousin was Lt Edgar Davies 29 Squadron RAF, 10 victories confirmed but in researching him for family history able to identify 9 aircraft and 2 balloons shot down. Family legend says he claimed 33 orginally which was reducted to 15 then finally after his death 10. Born in Islington London, joined from Campdale Rd, London into Westminster Rifles from School then RFC. Gained his Pilots certificate on 11th May 1918 at Hendon flying a Grahame-White biplane at the Grahame-White School.

I have always had a fascination with WWI airplanes and the pilots who flew them. It's wonderful to peruse your site and glean information from other knowledgeable people. I searched for and found the Dicta Boelcke in its entirety as I could only remember two of the air combat tactics. Thanks for your wonderful site. I will visit often.

Through a series of events, or just 1, I have an uncle - Langley Smith - who was a pilot with the RNAS during the war. All that I was ever told was that he was killed in the war. Thanks to your site, I now know that he was a decorated ace, and more importantly, I know where he is buried in Belgium - I may be time that family visited - it's probably been a while. Thatnks for helping our family's history to become a bit clearer.

Excellent ne off site for all WWI dogfight enthusiasts.
I'd most appreciate if any of the contributors could supply names of pilots and their planes who flew over Gallipoli and ex Ottoman empire lands.
