My cousin was an aviator in the 278th Aero Squadron in Dec. 1917, based at Dallas Love Field. I am researching his squadron and his service for a memorial to him and those he served with. His name was George Rauschkolb. I have been fortunate to have received a number of his pictures with him in uniform and his squadron picture and a photo of him in flight gear, his wings and additional items of interest. Any assistance on sources of information on the 278th would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My great grandfather was H. Weir Cook. So neat to hear about him on this website. Brings out a lot of patriotism...
