From the Aviation Week magazine, I ordered the first (?) set of the Heritge of the Air prints back in the late 1950's when I worked at the Pilotless Aircraft Research Division at NACA, Langley Labs. Are there other prints still available ?

huge site with load of info. But i would be happier if webmasters would add more of them, given by us. E.g: i work at the National Francesco Baracca Museum, and wrote many mails to theaerodrome with info on the Ace (and even Ansaldo's planes), info that are still missin on the site. Let's contribute, visitors and webmasters, to make this site a complete encyclopedia!! and don't refuse a help, webmasters bye

The United States developed a fighter plane in WW I which came too late to see combat. It was a sesquiplane with the lower wing installed at the level of the wheels in the landing gear. Any information you might have would be appreciated

A wonderful, well laid out, informative site. Your efforts to keep alive the memory of an almost forgotten era are greatly appreciated.

Superb lads naturally very impressed with the Irish list, can't help feeling yr missing Eddie 'Mick' Maddock as Irish born in Ballincollig, Cork, also Yeats poem is based on Robert Gregory who i don't see listed? Keen, De Burgh, Mulholland? Still think your site is brilliant best of luck with the future!

As a AF fighter pilot I find your web page one of the best I've seen when it comes to documenting Aces. My hats off!
