A very intersting site, as good as or better than many of my aircraft history books and magazines, again excellent.

You have a great Site. I put a link to you on my blog http://cutandpasteaviation.blogspot.com/ 2006/01/milestones-of-flight-118.html for a post about Sir Thomas Octave Murdoch Sopwith's birthday. Hope that is OK with you.

I am editing the war correspondence of Merril Taylor and we would like to include pictures of Hans Weiss and Franz Buchner. How can I get permission to use the pictures here on your wedsite?

How do I contact the people in charge of this website?

Peter Borch

James TresouthickIllinois, USA

Was doing a general search on the Trescowthick name, came across this site. In one of several recent conversations over the net, the name Trescowthick/Trescothick were mentioned. My name, Tresouthick was derived from Trescowthick after my ancestor left the family farm, moving west and slightly north. As generations passed, the family came to St. Agnes, dialect and spelling changing to the current. Headstone in St. Ag. with name, and was in use before Trescothick, or more simple versions. James

I'm 81, followed WW I aviation for over 70 years; spent 3 years as a combat engineer with 35th Infantry Division, a year in European campaign in WW II (eyes kept me on the ground); interviewed a couple of Camel pilots, hope to write an article about it for the Journal; was Treasurer of the League for 8 years; looking to sell collection of books, prints, etc., have morphed into an avid history buff in my senior years; love to hear from anybody out there.

Hi everyone,

I am the only granddaughter of Australia's A. H. (Harry) Cobby. I never knew him, he died the year before I was born. It amazes me though how much interest is shown in regard to him on the internet. I have learnt more about him though these postings than I have from my own family. My father Neil (deceased) was his only son. I am truely proud to be his granddaughter and I only wish that myself and children could have known him. There are many good sites for more info.
