The absolute best website of it's kind anywhere! You have revived my interest in producing WW1 fighter aircraft models depicting particular air aces. I'm gonna have fun! Thanks and keep up the good work!

Hi!
Great Site!
We are the group "Nieuport memorial Flyers" from Switzerland and are currently building up 4 Nieuport 17/23 which were flying in Switzerland. Based on the original plans from Roozendal 1917! All planes with original Le Rhone engines.
1 Aircraft will be like the one of Oskar Bider, Switzerland, one like Cosimo Rizzotos.. The others are not definied yet.
Join our website and enjoy our project!
Greetings from Switzerland
Dani

Wife Susanna Klimke nee Lange born 1833, 5 children emigrated to USA from Hamburg in 1881 to Marquette Co. Wisconsin. Am searching for anyone whose family tree could be related. Thanks

Madeleine O'RourkeDublin

Happy new year.
I am researching the life of J. Armstrong Drexel, an American
pioneer pilot who started flying in 1909,
I have a reference to him being the first American aviator to serve under the French
commander, General Joseph Joffre. Where would
I find further information about his wartime service? He retired from aviation around 1919,
and was still alive in 1928. When did he die?
With many thanks,
Madeleine

Cynthia KimptonNew Zealand

My late Father in Law, Herbert Harold Kimpton, of Somersham, Huntingdonshire, England, enlisted in the 64th Squadron,Royal Flying Corp on 22 October 1915. His records state that he was made Sgt non-Tech, and that he was a motor cyclist. Medically he is recorded as "Fit as observer, but unfit in a capacity as pilot" on 13 July 1918. Other places mentioned in his records are Chingford and Crystal Palance. I have photographs of Herbert in uniform with comrades on motor cycles, and one of a plane. I would welcome more information on 64th Squadron.

konstantynowiczPoland

I am looking for all information about the family Konstantynowicz - owners of DEKA - and about the DEKA manufactory and the DEKA ENGINES. A certain family Konstantynowicz possessed in St Petersburg a business "Duflon, Konstantynowicz & Co." abbreviated as DEKA i.e. joint stock company; co-property of Aleksander (?) Konstantynowicz from the Mscislau line probably - and we built up the military manufactory of aeroengines in a town Aleksandrovsk (later on named Zaporozhye = Zaporozh'e) in 1915 and 1916; the Mersedes-type 100 hp assembled here in September 1916 and designated (tm)Deka M-100; Motor Sich JSC at present. I wish for finding more inform
