Great painting! And yes, it does bring to mind the main character in "Goshhawk Squadron" POTom. Boy, I bet it's been 35 years since I read that book. Going to have to dig it out and give it another read and see if it's as good as I remember.
Once again, a truly excellent painting Mr. Dietz!
