Obviously I don't expect to find any period color photos of the aerodrome, but surely someone here in the forum has been to the site and has taken some good shots while there. Can anyone help me out?

Well, we're both going to be disappointed, Russ. I just spent half an hour pouring through my France photos thinking that on my '93 trip I was surely at Vert Galant, but alas, I was thinking of Bertangles. No Vert Galant anywhere, and all of my subsequent trips have been spent in the Dept. of Meuse for my Frank Luke work, hence, '93 was my only shot at it.

I do have a copy of the video "Where They Flew and Where They Fell," which covers the VG 'drome is considerable detail and, of course, full color, but your work may demand still photos. If per chance its of any use to you I'll be glad to ship it out, just let me know.

Would that be on DVD or VHS? If its DVD I can indeed make use of it.

Its on VHS (it was made in the late 80's or early 90's). But if it will help I'll be happy to transfer it to DVD and send it out... its not difficult. Let me know.

Yes, I think I do have your address. I have a business trip coming up... can you give me a week or so? Then I'll be glad to send it out. If you don't hear from me in a week, PM me here. It won't take long, but I'm only in town for a day or so then I have to leave again.
