A scarce and beautiful picture of the elusive L.F.G. Roland G.I. Thanks for posting this one.

Officially this machine was named the L.F.G. Roland G.I, where L.F.G. stood for Luftfahrzeug-Gesellschaft mbH.

Biplane bomber. The single 245 hp Maybach Mb IV engine was buried in the fuselage. The two pusher propellers were driven by a system of gears and shafts. The machine appeared in 1915, but did not go in production.
The crew of this plane consisted of two.

The tyres of this machine were of a double thickness.
