Norman,
Have you read Dan Sans' thread #15 on the thread Erich Tornuss - the Jasta historian (http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/people/33371-erich-tornuss-jasta-historian.html) regarding the Albatros numbers. I can't believe that you said this, your sense must either have been garbled or completely misunderstood. I think you should get on the site ASAP and explain this remark otherwise it will totally destroy your reputation as an historian.
Regards
Alex

Frankly, I can only wonder about ARīs suicidal behaviour. In another thread he did just foreward speculations about my identity which were perfectly suited to damage or ruin my image. Now he is very close to repeating this kind of “Rufmord” in another case!

Is DS absolutely convinced that Norman Franks was not making a(n) [admittedly bad] joke? Is there any trustworthy witness confirming what DS rembered?
If not, then the air becomes very thin for Revell and [sadly] DS – I understand that both are upset but did they think one minute about potential human and legal results of their public remarks and action? If Franks calls his lawyer then you are lost!

In another thread Revell is already regreeting his overly fast reaction – but he takes no action at all. He could have asked the webmaster to delete the whole post but he is not doing so!

He seems to be completely inable to take the most easy actions! How sad, once more.
I assume you will (again) not listen to my well-meaned advice but you should finish that stand here and clarify the matter on another way!

Rammjaeger,
Once again you have deliberately miscontrued my thread re your identity. I meant in no way to damage your reputation. What possible motive could I have. I didn't even know you had one. Read again and you will see that I specifically said that I did not agree with my friend's opinion as to your identity. You wish to give me 'advice' . Let me give you some. Try to understand what you are reading before jumping into making judgements. If neccessary, move your finger a little more slowly along the text. You'll find this helps. Don't bother to answer this because I have no intention of entering into any further discussion with you, however much bile you pour out against me on the site.

Alex Revell:
If you have some doubt about what I said, Check with Rick Duiven, he was in the room when Norman Franks made his statement. I have no ax to grind here at all. Straight facts and the truth. If Norman Franks has a problem with that, I would suggest, that he should be careful of what he says, it could bite him! Frankly, I was surprised at his remark! I felt that as a owner of his books, I thuoght that he should have made a correction notice in his next book.
In regards to your oracle remark, I don't consider myself as such ,at all. I have a limited time left here on earth, I will never be able to publish all the data I have, so I have decided to share it, and that has been the purpose of my 6000+ posts, nothing more and nothing less. What is done with the information, I will leave entirely to the reader.
Further, I don't want to start an argument with you, a very simple explanation, thats all. I have followed the debacle between you and Taz, I felt sorry for Taz, I had been in those shoes before, but, not ever again. It is not worth the time and energy.
I would like to do a book on Jasta Markings, but, I don't have the time or energy to do another, "Schlachtflieger!
Merry Christmas,
Dan-San

I wish to thank you for your kind thoughts. I do have a witness to the conversation between Norman franks and myself, Rick Duiven was there in the room during this discussion. It was not a joke, maybe a careless off hand response, but neverthe less it was said. Its really too bad.
I feel sorry to see this discussion end in rancor, I think Mr .Revell needs a vacation.
Merry Christmas tou and your family,
Dan-San

You all know why.

Let me say this. It is time all of you took some time away from this in fighting. It just wastes so much bandwidth and time for everyone.
