connecting problems

Hi everyone,

I am having difficulty connecting to the internet in multiplayer. I am new at this, so I don't know where the problem is. Sometimes it conects, while other times it doesn't. I have a cable modem which is up all the time. Anybody have any ideas?

I got the same problem, with one difference... i can't connect at all ! It is the first time i try with XP, maybe the problem is there.

The error message says :"Are u connected ?" (of course i am...!) then it says to retry in 15 minutes, but the problem still...

i have no idea, anybody have some ?

Hello Wingedwarrior and Zif

Your problem could be from various reasons, but
first of all, are you using the 1078 patch to see
all the available servers? This is the best way to
connect in MMP.

Also, the 1078 patch does not work in RB2 patched,
it only works in RB3D.

The patch is at Wings-of-Valor. This site has
helpful information regarding RedBaron 3D.

Jasta 30 is listed under the squads page there also.

I do not have that patch, and I still have RBII ! But I remember I played a lot of "dogfights" with RB II...

I think I just have to move around the "ring" to find some useful patch. I shold try the 1078 too, I'll remove any preinstalled patch with Campaign manager 11.

Hello Zif

You will not have to remove any patches from CM11
to install 1078. Although the patches in CM11 work
both in single player and multi player, the 1078 is
only to see the servers for multi player.

Also, the 1078 only works with RB3D or RB2 patched
to 3D, not RB2 separately.
