OK Guys - bear with me as this is probably a very dim question.
I have just downloaded the new monster (40 megs) promised land all seasons patch, but have stored it outside my current Sierra file. Want to make sure I get this right.
When I'm finished I want to have RB3D base, with Promised Land All Seasons and Westeern Front patches.
So in what order should I add the patches?
I think it is probably base + campaign manager + all seasons + western front.
Can anyone confirm?
Sorry - I told you it was dim..... :-[

I'm not sure what you mean by "RB base"
assuming you already have a fully functioning version of CM11 incorporated into your RB install...
I usually put the terrain in first, to make sure that works. because if the terrain is any good, it really shouldn't interfere with too many other patches.
I would then set about installing the WFP patch, if you've done it before then you'll just do it like you did earlier.
I usually take all the stuff in the WFPBase patch and just dump it into the Simpatch folder... usually I don't need the CM11 for this part of the WFP install... it might not be the best method, but I haven't had any serious problems yet.
then you stash all of your date-based files into the 'date' folder inside the CM11 program.
several things to remember... if you move backwards in time from (let's suppose 1918, back to 1915) one campaign to another you always need to reset the game date and update the files accordingly with CM11. otherwise you'll have Morane Parasol's flittering about like Sopwith Camels.
I always start my campaigns at an early date and then proceed forwards, trying to keep all of my active careers around roughly the same time... I just like the idea of all those pilots flying in the same imaginary world--even if they'll never "see each other."
in short, I always do the terrain first... if there are any conflicts I want the aircraft to win... and if any over-writes happen it will be the flyable part of the game that wins... it shouldn't be a problem in this case, because the PL all-seasons patch was apparently designed with the WFP patch in mind.

the aforementioned web-link is a great place to get your questions answered about both PL and WFP.
hope it helps

Excellent - thanks for the pointers totoroman.
Actually I currently have neither the Campaign Manager of WFP downloaded, but I take it from your message that the order should be campaign manager + promised land + WFP.
Here goes...
