Hey, I live in Georgia and that's how ya say hello in Ga.

The WW1 Biplane is too cool! I have wings and a fuselage kit for a CarbonCubEX but, I could build a Nieuport 17 for the cost of the CCX finish kit?I have been on hold because it wasn't a good idea to build it in the airpark hangar. This summer my hangar will be ready for action and I have three months of R&R to do it!. So guess what; did I mention I have a wager for a steak to be flying by 2013 (plus a number of days into Jan due to my rotation schedule?), I think I'm going for the Nieuport 17 @Airdrome Aeroplanes!
Then maybe I can focus on the CCX but wait, Meanwhile for further reference.

I would like to see about building a set of wood wings to go on an Airdrome Aeroplanes N17 so that when I start the N28 (long term project re: Jeff's D7) from scratch I'll be able to avoid some costly errors.

Talking with Jeff about his D7 has helped me to prioritize my a/c projects and set the wheels rolling.

If anyone has suggestions for plans and tech data/info let me know plz & thx.

I look forward to exhanging information and ideas as well as trading deals.
It's a good thing.

Hi, DJ.

Are you looking for something like this?

When this airplane passes it's pre-cover - about a month - another set could be built....

John

You DO know that Baslee does a full scale N28 kit, right? Aluminum tube like the other kits of his. Yes, a bit more work than the N17.

Exceptionally superb.
I think there are possibilities here.

I do know about the kits. It will be fine for an Nie17 but the Nie28 is a dream.
