Today I completed this book and uploaded it to the printer; it should be in print by the end of September. It has 752 pages, more than 1,000 photos and drawings, and a 16-page color section. It is hard bound with US letter-size pages (same as all Aeronaut Books) and will retail for $99.95. It will be available from the Aeronaut Books website (free shipping in the USA) and Amazon US.
We will update our website to accept orders in the next two weeks.

Hello kapitan,
The drawings are not a secret, so I will list them for you. The purpose of the drawings is to illustrate the types, most of which were not built, and the drawings are not made for modelers although could be used for that.
All the best,
Jack

The printer has confirmed shipment of our new book American Military Aircraft 1908-1919 on September 17th as previously announced. I have now listed the book for sale on the Aeronaut Books website. We will return from the OTF seminar and Dawn Patrol Rendezvous at Dayton on 30 September and the bulk of the books will be delivered to us on 1 October. At that time we will start fulfilling orders for the AMA book, and I will also list the book for sale on Amazon US.
We are having the printer ship the first 100 copies to us at Dayton for sale there, and will also have copies of our existing titles for sale. If you go to Dayton please stop by and talk with us and perhaps pick up your copy of American Military Aircraft 1908-1919 or any of our other titles. Look forward to seeing you at Dayton.
Cheers,
Jack

Hi Frederic,
Good to hear! The printer shipped the book today, a day before the scheduled date. We will have copies for sale at the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous in Dayton.
After we return from Dayton, we will start shipping books to customers.

Yesterday I received my advance copy of American Military Aircraft 1908–1919. The printers did a great job and the book exceeded my expectations.

The Dawn Patrol Rendezvous is over and we are now back home. DPR is a wonderful event and we had a lot of fun. We also presented the first speakers series held at DPR and the talks were well received; most of the speakers have written books we have published.
We sold the first copies of American Military Aircraft 1908–1919 at DPR, where it was very well received.
Today we received a shipment of the books from the printer and will start shipping books to fulfill orders later today or tomorrow. I have now listed the book for sale on Amazon (in the US). International customers can order the book either from our website or from Amazon.
Cheers,
Jack

Jack, this is real good news
I notice the book's author is Robert Casari.
As a long standing admirer of his books (I have all seven known to me) I wonder how he is doing?
Also will the book be retailed somewhere in Europe?
Cheers

Hello Stig,
I met Bob for the first time at Dayton and he seemed to be doing well.
Several bookstores in Europe have purchased copies of the book for sale. There are two bookstores in the UK carrying the book and at least two more in Germany carrying the book.
As always, shipping costs are the bane of a publisher's business. You can also order the book from our website and from Amazon in the US; we fulfill those orders too.
Cheers,
Jack
