Anyone familiar with Airships Over the North Channel by Guy Warner? Opinions? Detailed text or mostly photos? OOBs?
Also, anyone recommend a book on Russian airships in WW1? Even Russian text is fine. I can OCR scan and convert to English. Looking for airship use over Riga, Moon Sound in 1915.

Hi:
Pulled my copy of "Airships Over the North Channel ". It's a fairly small, 55 pages, pamphlet style booklet and is roughly 70% photos and 30% test. Many of the photos are quite interesting, and I have not seen them elsewhere.

Thanks. I was looking more for OOBs. What ships stationed where and when. Many thanks for taking the time to review it for me.
I managed to pin down three SSZ airship at Bentra on/about March 1918 SSZ 11,12,13 but still missing a few others. At least three.

There is a book on the general history of Airships and Dirigibles (in Russian)
Название: Дирижабли
Автор: Кирилин А.Н.
Издательство: МАИ
Год: 2013
Страниц: 405
ISBN: 978-5-7035-2314-8
"Dirigibles" by A.N. Kirilin published by Moscow Aviation Institute in 2013 ISBN 9785703523148.
I think it was available on the internet as a PDF. Although it focuses on the later Russian airships there are some early offerings as well (1908-1916).

BTW, recommend any russian websites which have good threads regarding aerial warfare in WWI or RCW?
Google translate works wonders in following the subject.
