Another question I've wanted to ask to help me learn some new information:)I've read up on squadrons where they saw limited action in the Western Front due to locale so lesser kills and losses.Areas were the battlefront was very active like the Somme,Verdun,Ypres, ect. saw some of the most volatile activity in the skies over them. What areas in the Western Front were the opposite?

... is a nice paraphrase for the fact, that the hell occasionally was only a few degrees colder along other sectors of the frontline in France.
;)
Sometimes a few hours make a difference. Until early 1916 Verdun was considered to be a quiet sector - so quiet that the French started to disarm some of their fortifications - but today we know better.
But generally seen the frontline between Nancy (southeast of Verdun) and the border of Switzerland was a relatively unspectacular area during the Great War. Occasionally there were very limited offensives along the Vosges mountains after the beginning of 1915, but still it was a dangerous place for any inexperienced or careless pilot.

I figured the southern region would be of less activity.Squadrons posted there didn't rack up a score as their northern counterparts for that reason.
