spad vII engine

Hello,
I posted this here since I am planning on building a replica spad VII somewhere in this lifetime.
In the Spad VII, the Hispano-Suiza 8 engine was used. Is there a modern equivalent of this engine type around with about the same specs or just a model that is quite common, so I can easily get my hands on?

Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome flies a wonderful SPAD VII replica that uses a modern Lycoming O-360 180hp engine. Here are a few pictures I snapped of it last summer at Oshkosh. Steve
