Pilot badge - a good chuckle

Just when you think you’ve seen it all--Franz Walz' Pilot Badge. The Bavarians must be rolling in their graves. Got a good chuckle from this one and the seller even cites this forum for the supposed detail of his record. Mean no harm to anyone here. Just not original. Someone worked really hard on this one. It would display nicely with the Bruno Loerzer badge discussed earlier. Steve

Poor copy of a pilot badge with nice modern engraving. This not worth the asked price.

If someone knows nothing about this type of badge and winds up buying it and showing it to anyone knowledgeable the buyer will wind up being pretty mad at the seller.

This reminds me of that lucky guy who scored a MvR signature for $3,700.

He did not even bother to look at the black border of the sanke card, nor the cross right after Richthofen's name, indicating this was a posthumous card.

an amazing signature from Richthofen's ghost!! Well worth 4 thousand bucks:(

I see this sort of junk all the time, especially all the Luftwaffe 'victory cups' that have hit the market lately, and are accepted as real. People are gullible.
