The Hangman

Current progress cranking out WWI airplanes on my 3D printer and painting them for Dawn Patrol game. German Drachen balloon is a resin kit from Armaments in Miniatures. German AA trucks and cannons from free stl files. MG AA gunners made by me. SPAD XIII in photo is painted coal black, with a hangman's noose on fuselage to represent French fighter ace "The Hangman", nemesis of Baron Von Hammer from DC's "Enemy Ace" comic series. Black Nieuport with death skull insignia on wings also based on a "Enemy Ace" story.

Planes are magnetically attached to my "Finger Four" slide-lock and dial flight stands.

Nice to see people still enjoying an old fashioned style of game in this computer world. I used to use 1/300 metal models- dice, rules would easily pack away when going on holiday. You could get a game in down the pub. Bit like a game of chess planning your next move wondering if your opponent would make a mistake and needing to roll a 5 to win as your guns had just jammed on a 3 second burst!

Made a nice 1/300 Handley Page 400 bomber from plastic card and wire struts.

Your models look good. :D
