I need a French translator who can help me on November 18th and 19th in the Verdun region. I'm hoping for someone located in the western Europe area. Though this is a volunteer project, travel expenses (except air fare) will be covered. Fluency in French is a must; English should be at least acceptable.

I really, REALLY need help here guys, and I'm running out of time. Anybody got any ideers?

I am volunteer for your quest but can't it be on an other date. The period is not very happy because of the poor weather this time at Verdun.

Did you contact Katrin? She'd be excellent and if she can't make it, she'd put you in touch with someone who can; she knows the region and has friends and colleagues there.
Here's another idea: learn French!

If nobody's available, I'm prepared to help you. I'm a French student living in Paris and I studied in Liverpool last year. What does your project consist of? Just visiting the trenches in Verdun?

Thanks to all of you - shortly after this was posted I was emailed by an American in Paris who volunteered to help. Thank you again. If anything changes I'll get in touch with you again, but at the moment it looks as though we're in good shape.
